As a member of the successful music group Sierra, Jennifer Hendrix has always felt a calling on her life.
From an early age, Jennifer always knew that she would be a singer. From the early days of her dad working with her on harmonies as they listened to 2nd Chapter of Acts, the love for music she acquired was just part of her upbringing. From doing summer youth camps, to leading worship at church services, Jennifer has looked for ways to develop her talent.
In 1990, after winning a singing contest in south Texas, Jennifer was introduced to Wendi Foy Green who was looking to put together a girl trio. Fast forward 3 years later and the ladies of Sierra had been signed to a major label. What transpired over the next 10 years was over 300,000 in sales, 5 full length projects, 7 #1 singles on radio, 15 top 5 songs on radio and countless tour dates.
After being on the road for that many years, the ladies decided it was time to turn their attention toward their families, and left the music business behind. However, since that time, Jennifer has never lost that desire to sing and speak. She loves to communicate the love of God through her music and worship. She personally has seen the power of what worship can do to transform lives. As an active member of her home church worship team, her desire is to lead people to the Throne of God and allow them to understand His great love for them.
Moving forward, Jennifer’s desire is to lead women in worship whether at a conference, retreat, or a worship service. As a wife for 16 years and a mother to four children, Jennifer understands the challenges and struggles women face today.
