Beauty Columnist and makeup artist/esthetician Shelly Ballestero struggled for years with her self-image while she traveled a difficult path to a place of brokenness. Yet God transformed Shelly’s life and she overcame a broken family, abusive relationships, and poor choices. Her testimony is truly a story of victory from ashes to beauty.
Today Shelly serves as an inspirational beauty coach, esthetician/makeup artist, and beauty expert columnist for CBN.com, Beautiful One Magazine, Christian Women Online, The Family Groove, Sheer Balance and On Course magazine. Shelly’s career has ranged from subtle face makeovers to painting bold murals on buildings. She is a graduate of the prestigious International Academy. Shelly also holds certifications as a nutritional consultant, Herbalist and graduate of one of the top makeup schools in the industry, Joe Blasco.
Shelly lives in sunny Florida with her husband, award winning musician/worship leader Angelo Ballestero, and their two sons.
